“You have My word, you’ll not go under, but you will come out with plunder.”

These words were spoken to me by the Lord just before waking on Saturday morning. I recognized them immediately; they were from a prophecy I received in 2007 – sixteen years ago. Here is the prophecy…

Now in your heart as you do ponder, I will take you over yonder, saith God.

For it is here I’ve brought you near, do not worry and have no fear.

Just go on and through the door, for there I’m going to give you more.

No, don’t wait, don’t hesitate, it’s in your hands, I’ve got your fate.

Step in my step and in my stride, for I am there, right by your side.

You’ve got my word, you’ll not go under, but will come out with plunder.

As you do the things I’ve asked of you, I will cause your dreams to come true.

Now, I will make it all to be well, as you do have the world to tell.

And I will cause you to see, for as you know, it’s all about Me, saith God.

March 5, 2007

After all these years, God was reminding me and reiterating these precious words spoken to me during a time I really needed to hear from God. Still…I had not thought of them in many, many years.

What does plunder mean? To recover or to spoil. It also means to rob of goods or valuables by force. The Bible says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. (See Mt 11:12) I believe God was reminding me of this word and telling me it is time to plunder. Time to take back, recover and spoil the enemy’s camp.

I began to pray about exactly how to do that, and God led me to one scripture.

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. (1 Tim 1:18)

As previously stated, I hadn’t thought about this prophetic word for many years. Now, God was reminding me and instructing me to get about bringing in the plunder. How? As scripture states, we WAR with the prophetic words we have been given. Those may be words for you personally, or for our nation. The Word of God says we wage a GOOD warfare if we war with the words we have been given prophetically.

The New Living Translation says it like this; Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles.

Prophetic words are given to us to help us fight our battles. These are not mere words, they are divine inspired words from God, Himself – not only to encourage and inspire us, but also to equip us for battle. It is God, speaking His plan for our future. May we never forget that.

I believe the Lord wanted me to share this with you today. Not only what He spoke to me, but also what He told me to do with those words. And I believe He wants you to dust off any prophetic words you may have laid aside. Perhaps, like me, it has been many years since you first heard them. Dust them off, begin to declare them. With them, wage a good warfare. Speak them over your life until they again become a part of you. Until you become passionate to see the outcome of those words. Until…you see them manifest.

This I know. It is time for the Body of Christ to come out with plunder. One way we will do that is with the prophetic words that have been spoken into our life. With them we must wage war. A good warfare. In doing so, we will see the promises of God come to pass.
