A House of Treasures

As the renovations of my home continue, I am watching God fulfill His word to me.

Many of you may recall dreams I shared with you in the past.  In the dreams, God showed me a home, filled with treasures.  Room after room was filled with all kinds of treasures.

Proverbs 15:6 says, In the house of the righteous there is much treasure.

Proverbs 18:21 says, That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.

I knew the dreams God was giving me were scriptural and I stood in faith, declaring these scriptures over my life for years.

The other night, I was sitting in a borrowed camping chair looking around my house.  You see, I have no furniture right now.  I had sold my old furniture before I began work on the floors and haven’t yet replaced it.  I didn’t want to have to work around it and frankly I didn’t think I would be without furniture this long.

So, I was sitting looking around my house.  At my floors and baseboards.  I was giving thanks to God for each of them.  I wasn’t thinking about what I didn’t have – only what I did have.

As I walked through my house, giving thanks, I realized the dreams God had given me were beginning to manifest before my eyes.

What do I mean?

I have this beautiful oil painting aptly named, Enchanted Season, a partner sent to me several months ago.  I can’t wait to hang it in my house.

I have been given three, absolutely beautiful, canvas photographs of the beach, again, sent to me by a partner.

I have a wonderful, Singer Featherweight sewing machine from my friend in Ohio.  And an embroidery machine from a friend and partner.

I have a picture about home that Kelita sent me as a housewarming gift.

If that isn’t enough, another partner sent me a gift of blessing this week that blessed me beyond words.  My home is truly being filled with treasures.

These, they are all TREASURES to me.  I have treasures of jewelry from a friend and partner in Florida.  I am sure I am forgetting something, if so, forgive me.

The point I am trying to make is God is fulfilling His promise to me and filling my home with treasures.  One room and one treasure at a time.

What I want you to see today my friend is this; the world may be in chaos, but God is continuing to fulfill his promise.  He has not changed His mind or His plan. He is not moved and neither should we be.

Our stance should not change.  Get your mind back on God.  Back on your promise.  Back on your inheritance.  Continue to decree and declare His blessings for they are surely coming this year.  He will fill your home and your life with treasures just like He said He would.  We are in covenant, what He is doing for me, He will do for you.

I am confessing that God is continuing to fill my house, room by room, with treasures!  I am excited.  God is doing great things – keep your eyes on Him.

Meditate on this:

I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name. For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me.  Isaiah 45:3-4
