A couple weeks ago I received a testimony from one of our partners who had received a miracle from God concerning cancer. Breanne and I were extremely moved by this testimony and I spent several days giving God thanks for what he had done in this man’s life. His miracle impacted him, his wife, his children and many more people who loved him. His miracle also impacted the people he is destined to meet in his lifetime, those with whom he will share the faithfulness of his God with.

2 Corinthians 1:2-5 says; Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.

Did you know that in your life you will come across people who you will impact in ways you can only imagine and that impact will have a life-altering effect on them? It’s true – we may very well be a piece of the puzzle for someone. We are the missing piece in someone’s life – oh, it may not be a big thing or seem powerful to us, but to them it may be just the thing they need to keep pressing through.

As I read this testimony, he shared how several times he was beyond discouraged and fearful and then he would receive a daily teaching that spoke to his heart, encouraging him to keep trusting God.

I can’t tell you how that blesses me and humbles me. I praise God for the small things that he gives me to share each day and I praise God for the days that those small things have a big impact – only through God can we do that.

He also shared how I lead him to the Healing Prayer Call with an announcement that they were led to pray specifically for cancer – again I was amazed and humbled at the hand of God in each of our lives so intricately. Doesn’t it astound you that our GOD, the God of the universe, who created everything is so in love with you that he will rearrange your day, make sure you are where you are supposed to be, just so that you will receive that one piece of the puzzle that you are so desperately seeking from Him? It absolutely astounds me.

I love how the scripture I shared above reads in the Amplified Version; Grace(favor and spiritual blessing) to you and [heart] peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement), Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God. For just as Christ’s [own] sufferings fall to our lot [as they overflow upon His disciples, and we share and experience them] abundantly, so through Christ comfort (consolation and encouragement) is also [shared and experienced] abundantly by us.

We have all come through seasons and times when we had to cling to God for comfort. We have had to hold tight to His word to empower us to come through. But those times were not in vain, now we can and should, comfort others. We can and should lead others out and help them come through.

Have you been comforted? Comfort someone else! Have you been blessed? Bless someone else! Has someone encouraged you when all hope seemed lost? Encourage someone else! If you have come through anything, you have an anointing to help someone else come through, share it. You will be blessed beyond measure, I can assure you.

It may be something small to you; a kind word, a scripture God has put on your heart or a hot meal, whatever it is, share it. Comfort others, encourage others, just as God has encouraged you. YOU are the missing piece of the puzzle to someone, pray and ask God to lead you to people to encourage and comfort, He will do it. After all, he helps us through so we can help others through…it’s time we be about our Father’s business, don’t you think?
