All Things New!

All Things New!

This past weekend, we entered into a new year in God.  Rosh Hashanah began sundown on Sunday, September 9, 2018.  9.9.18.

The number nine speaks of finality, fullness and the fruit of the womb.  Of course, 18 is a doubling of the number 9.

I believe we have entered into a time of fulness of many things.  A time of seeing, with our natural eyes, the fruit of the womb.  The fruit or manifestation of what we have been carrying in prayer for months, or even years.  A time of double blessings.

I am excited for the new year in God.

Sunday afternoon, I was pondering on this day, this Rosh Hashanah…God’s New Year.  I thought how seamlessly I have aligned with God’s timing in the past few years.  I look more forward to His New Year than I do our New Year on January 1.

This New Year in God feels different to me.

I don’t know about you, but this past year was hard.  We gained much ground in the Kingdom of God.  I thank God for that.  But it was a hard year.  A time of pressing.  A time of pushing through.

God has been good to us.  To me.  And He has challenged us and me.  For that I am thankful.  I never want to stop growing in God.

I have always felt the way you leave a season is the way you enter into the next season.  Therefore, I wanted to leave this past season the best way I could.  I chose to spend the hours of the previous year in God in prayer and worship.  And by giving.

I wanted to enter into the New Year the same way.

I prayed in the New Year.  I worshipped in the New Year.  And I gave my best, my very best monetary offering to the Lord.

I can think of no better way to begin a new year, can you?

As this New Year begins, I am praying for each of you.  That the fruit of your prayers will be seen in your life.  That the fruit of your giving will be poured out in your life.  That this will be a year of fullness in every area of your life.

Like me, you may look back and think the past few months have been hard.  But that is not the end of the story.  The truth is the goodness of God is seen in my life, in your life every single day.  If I have learned anything from this time it is to keep my focus on God.  Keep His word in my heart and coming out of my mouth.  Refuse to look at the lies of the enemy and look only to God who is forever faithful.

Perhaps the past few months have been a challenge for you as well.  If so, brush it off, let it go.  We have entered into a New Year, a new day, a new season…and God is good.  He is always good.

It’s time to dream.  To get your expectations up.  To believe you will experience fullness in every area of your life.  To know that God is bringing to pass every single thing He has vowed and promised you.  The fullness of time.  The time for the fruit of the womb to be seen in your life.

It’s time friends.  It’s time for all things new in God.  To God be all the glory!
