From my heart…..
On Friday, I awoke and honored the Lord and shared with Him as I do most mornings and I was especially thankful – actually, grateful. I began to thank God that I am alive in a time where we have the technology of the internet because if it weren’t for the internet, I would have most likely have not met Kim Potter.
Ten years ago, a friend sent me one of her motivations. I was going through a difficult season in my life and they really spoke to me. The words she taught helped me see by faith and encouraged me to not give up. What I didn’t know until many years later, that during those years, Kim was going through some of the most difficult times in her life as well. Funny thing was, I couldn’t tell…..she taught by the Spirit of God not from the voice of her soul. This is the mark of a mature leader.
In 2014, I had Kim come and speak at our women’s conference and it was amazing. Many lives were touched and we further deepened our connection. It was awesome to meet her and Breanne in person. In January 2015, I began helping with the social media for A New Thing Ministries and my life has never been the same.
So, as I began to thank God for the internet today, it was in part because I am so thankful for Kim, Bre and A New Thing Ministries. It wasn’t long after I started reading her motivations, that I had a desire to give to ANT. I am a firm believer that when I hear a true word of God or I am fed by a ministry, I can enter into covenant with them or seal that particular word in my life by giving. It’s literally a partnership. They give me a word that speaks to my life, and I respond by giving to them to help sustain their ability to continue to keep giving me (and others) the word and revelation from God. It’s a beautiful thing that God has ordained – giving and covenant . We know from the Parable of the Sower that we want to give into good soil and ANT certainly is!
I have been a faithful partner of ANT for several years now and I can tell you my life is changed. I started out with a small recurring amount monthly and set it in my budget, and I increase it yearly as the Lord directs. Now that I work with Kim on a daily basis, I know the importance of our partners – Kim could not do what she does without you! We will never know how many people have had their lives changed until we reach heaven! And the beautiful thing is, we, as partners will share in that reward!
Reward? Benefits? OH MY! Not only do I receive revelation and insight, but, because I partner with her and the ministry, when she receives a blessing, credit for a soul that is saved or touched – I get credit for that as well. God is awesome like that. The prayer support from this ministry is very comforting. I don’t know how many times, over the years, I have emailed Kim and Bre with a prayer request and they have never failed to respond and to pray. My life has been changed and prayers have been answered because of these two obedient servants.
