As I sought the Lord about what to write for that final 2022 partner letter, many things came to mind.

I began to think back over this year. First, my mind went back to the challenges I have faced this year, beginning with skunks under my house and a septic repair that would cost thousands of dollars to repair. That was the beginning of my year – the middle of my year held yet another challenge – one close to my heart that tried to break it into a million pieces – but God.

As I thought about all these things, I have faced in this year – I began to think about the faithfulness of God. Through it all, my faith only increased and my trust in God continued to become greater with each challenged faced.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 says, “We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed.”

I love how The Passion Translation says it.

Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.

This has been a year of every kind of pressure – a time of not knowing exactly what to do at times – but quitting was never a thought.

I don’t know what your year has held, but this I do know. God is faithful and He will never forsake you. Never ever.

I don’t know about you, but I started this year strong, with a renewed hope and an expectation of good from God and I intend to end the year the same way, regardless of what has come my way this year.

I started strong and I intend to finish strong.

You, my wonderful partners, have walked through this year with me, prayed through this year with me and for that I am very thankful. I do not cease to give God thanks for you.

Now, together, lets finish this year strong. God is not finished with this year – therefore, neither are we. I still believe we, you, and I, will see the goodness of God in the land of the living – THIS VERY YEAR…

Let’s choose to walk into this month with a firm persuasion of ending this year with a shout of GLORY TO GOD! And a declaration of LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE, knowing we will see His goodness poured out in our life!

Also, let’s purpose in our heart to end this year by being a blessing to those around us. Is there someone in your life who needs to know they are loved and appreciated? If so, bless them.

Is there someone who has been a blessing to you this year? Surprise them with a generous, unexpected blessing!

In this month, we celebrate Jesus, and we celebrate giving – God so loved that He gave – may we follow His lead…may we love so much that we give generously to those around us.

Partners, thank you for walking with us another year. Thank you for every seed you have sown into this ministry. Thank you for every prayer you have prayed – words could never express my gratitude.

This month, as you sow your best seed of the year, we stand firm in agreement with you that …

You will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

You will see a speedy and abundant harvest on every seed you have sown.

God will answer the deepest desires of your heart.

God will bring to pass every single prayer you are praying.

And most of all…that He will overwhelm you this very month with His manifested presence invading every area of your life!

Again, thank you! We love you. We appreciate you. Merry Christmas!

May His richest blessings be yours this season.

Love,

Kim Potter
