This morning I was reminded of a conversation I had with one of our partners at the beginning of a new year.
She called our office for me to fix something on her monthly donation. As I worked on her issue, we talked about what we were standing in faith for in the coming year.
I shared something with her that was a desire of my heart. It was simply chit chat. It was a pleasant conversation. We fixed the issue and said our good-byes.
Moments later, I had an email from my person PayPal account. This person had sent me a person financial gift. While the gift was a tremendous blessing, it was the words she had written in the note that blessed me most.
In her accompanying note, it said… “A dream becoming a reality!!!”
Those words captured my spirit that day and continue to capture me even now.
As I was thanking her for the gift, I shared with her how those words impacted me. I said to her, “You have sown a seed of a dream becoming a reality. Think about it and let me know what dream you want to become a reality. I will stand in faith with you for it to come to pass this very year.”
She didn’t even have to think about it. She knew exactly what dream she wanted to become a reality this year. She shared it with me. We agreed for the manifestation of it. Her seed was in the ground and we touched and agreed on her harvest for that seed.
The following day I was thinking about all this.
While preparing my tithe and offering from this gift, the Lord spoke to my heart and said, “Sow it into someone else’s dream becoming a reality.”
I immediately knew where to sow that seed. I was excited to be a part of their dream becoming a reality – but not only that – I was now sowing my seed into a dream becoming a reality.
I now have seed in the ground for MY dream to become a reality! Praise the Lord!
Galatians 6:7 says, “God is not mocked, whatever we sow, that shall we reap.”
I love the way the New Living Bible says it.
“Don’t be misled–you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.”
You will harvest ONLY what you plant. We, my partner and I, have both sown seeds of a dream becoming a reality. We SHALL harvest what we have planted. If we believe we receive and stand firm on the word of God. The word and our seed will do the work.
Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
I fully expect every dream I have sown for to become a reality in my life. I expect it to come in good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, just as the Word of God says. With what measure I have sown, it shall be measured to me again.
I am praying this for each of us – that this year our dreams will become a reality. God is so faithful, and He wants to see your dreams fulfilled even more than you do. Can you believe it? And if God leads you to sow a seed for YOUR dream becoming a reality, write it down, date it and call it in. Begin to declare, “My dreams are becoming a reality this very year, in Jesus name.” Believe it and receive it. Amen.
