There is a scripture in the New Testament that I love.  It was the first thing that came to mind when I woke up this morning.  It is found in Luke 1:45.

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45

I have seen this scripture manifest in the past month – not only for me, but for many around me.  It has been so encouraging.  And I believe encouragement is something that is greatly needed in the time we are in.

Lately, prayers I have prayed, even those that didn’t appear to give the outcome we prayed for at first, in the end, were answered exactly with what we had asked for. It has been an amazing thing to behold.  God is so faithful and He is doing wonderful things.

I am also seeing harvest come to those around me who are being obedient to God and sowing seeds as He leads them to.  It truly has been an astounding time.  It seems I am seeing the Word itself manifest right before my eyes.  It’s something I haven’t seen in some time.  Not that God has not answered prayers in the past few years, He has, but this feels different. It feels like an open heaven.

LET NOTHING MOVE YOU

Going back to the scripture in Luke, two words stick out to me today from this scripture.  The first one is blessed.

Blessed means empowered to prosper.  We are only empowered to prosper when we believe God and His Word above all else.  Despite what we see, hear and feel, we must become fully persuaded that God is able to do all He has vowed and promised.

James 1:6-8 says, “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

The Amplified Bible says it like this; Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].

Today, it is vital that we trust in God completely and once we make that determination, we let nothing move us off that truth. LET NOTHING MOVE YOU.

The other word that stands out to me today is fulfillment. The King James Version’s word in this scripture is PERFORMANCE.  This word means to bring to completion, to perfect and to accomplish and fulfill.  This is the God we serve.

God will perform His Word.  God IS performing His Word, even this day.  Can you believe it?  Will you perceive it?

My friends, don’t miss this time in God.  He is doing amazing things in our midst – for and to those who believe.  Are you one of those who believe?  If so, I have great news!  You shall see, with your very eyes, a fulfillment of all God has vowed and promised you.  Trust Him.  Trust His Word and refuse to waver.

Appoint My Days

I will do everything without complaining and arguing so that no one can criticize me.  I live clean, innocent as a child of God, shining like a bright light in a world full of crooked and perverse people.  I hold firmly to the word of Life.
