Something came across my desk the other day that was so profound. At least to me. A few words within the word, opened my eyes to see something in a new way. I want to share with you what I read first…and then expound on a portion of it.
Breakthrough is coming! Restoration of your flow!
Hearing for some – it is the final round, I’m about to restore your flow so…. don’t stop now!
As I prayed and poured out my heart to Jesus, I saw a glass, clear drainpipe with about a centimeter of buildup in it! This greasy, clogged buildup of dirt and grime was causing the water to be clogged up and no longer flow!
As people humbled themselves, called upon the name of the Lord, he showed up in a miraculous way. As people sat in the presence of Jesus Christ, pouring out their hearts, I saw and felt myself this morning a NEW LEVEL OF FILLING! A new place of even deeper revelation, satisfaction and peace! The clog was removed, restored to “free-flow”!
BUT I BELIEVE JESUS WANTS TO BE YOUR “DRAINO” TODAY! He wants to restore your flow of His Holy Spirit in each area of your life! The only way is to pour out on Jesus everything! He is the author and the finisher, the beginning and the end. The only one that was and is and is to come! He’s got you – Your marriages, your children, your jobs, relationships, your money, your churches! He has got you!
This post is truly about pressing into the secret place, The presence of the Lord! But we have to pour out the old in order to receive the new, the peace, the joy!
Lastly, I want to point out that the grease that had clogged the drain had at one time used for anointing oil! WHILE THE OIL WAS KEPT WARM! But the oil got cold, the anointing oil got stagnant and was no longer being used and IT BECAME A SOLID —- This is why it became the grease that connected the dirt instead of the oil of anointing or friction reducer for the movement for the Holy Ghost! We have to keep the oil warm; we have to keep the oil hot, in our prayer closets, in worship, and daily Bible studies! Kimberly Leiter
The last paragraph is what caught my attention!
Oil that was once used as anointing oil had become cold and stagnant and clogged the drain. When the anointing became cold from lack of use…it became a solid. What once flowed freely… stopped.
This probably caught my attention because I had just been studying about people who once walked in a heavy anointing but had since become dry and stagnant. They were called by God to do a mighty work. They started out strong. But life and circumstances took their toll and they because weary. They became weary and disappointed and stopped pressing into God, His presence and His anointing.
It reminded me of a scripture in Revelations.
I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.
Being spiritually cold is not a good thing! I have always known that – but the example this lady gave, put it in a different perspective for me. I am a seer and I now see how it works when we allow our passion for God to become cold or even lukewarm.
It stops up everything – there is no longer a flow of His blessings. There is no longer a flow of His presence. Or a flow of His anointing. The flow of all He is, in our life, ceases.
Romans 12:11-12 says; Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward Him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let Him fill you with excitement as you serve Him.
Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble, but commune with God at all times. (Passion Translation)
I love this! Keep your passion for God boiling hot. If you do that, you will, without doubt, have a continual flow of His presence. And in His presence is fullness of joy. In His presence is life evermore. In His presence is shalom…nothing broken or missing.
Today, my friend, if you feel there is not a flow of His blessings…. check your passion level.
Is it boiling hot for God? If not, perhaps your flow is hindered or stopped up. If that is the case, it is a simple fix. Ask God to increase your passion for Him. Then fan that flame until your desire for Him and His word is once again, boiling hot. As you do that, blessings will flow. And His anointing, in you and on you…will flow freely, unhindered and with great power.
Meditate on this:
My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. Psalm 84:2
