Today, is a day for a fresh start–a new beginning. For those who have heard My word and heard My desire; for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, I will take you further into the realm of My kingdom than ever. In the excitement of that which you see and know, you will be compelled to live and flourish in the kingdom of Almighty God. So, I say to you today, begin again. Begin in the strength and the power that I provide. Become one with Me and walk with Me, and your life will take on a brand new, fresh meaning, says the Lord.
I read this today, it was a prophetic word by Bill Burns. How many of you would love a fresh start, a new beginning today? I know, me too. There are so many things I wish I had done differently but I can’t go back. However, I can start new today.
I love the scriptures in Lamentations 3:21-23; Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this, the faithful love of the Lord never ends, His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness, His mercies begin afresh each morning.
We serve an amazing God. Even when we make bad decisions, even when we don’t do things exactly right, even when we wish we could go back and change things, He is faithful. We can dare to hope because of His faithfulness. His love NEVER, NEVER ends. His mercies NEVER NEVER cease. Great is His faithfulness.
I will share a story with you, when I was first born again, I had an odd occurrence that lasted a couple years. Oh, I was a baby Christian and didn’t really understand things of the spirit and many things I thought back then I have since learned better. LOL. I guess we all do that. Anyway, I had numerous, not just one or two, but numerous people come to me and say they saw drops of liquid falling all around me, they said it looked glorious. Now, as I said, this happened numerous times. One weekend a friend and I went to another city for a meeting. We shared a hotel room. The next morning she told me that she had awaken in the middle of the night and saw these liquid drops falling all around me and on me, she said they never stopped and they looked glorious.
I tell you, I thought ‘wow, it must be the glory of God falling all over me.’ I thought that was what it was for a couple years. One day I was praying and asking God about it. He promptly told me that it was not glory falling all around me, He said it was mercy drops. Oh my goodness, did that bring me down a notch or two. Now, when I think about it I laugh.
You see, God knew I needed mercy, tons of it apparently. He knew I would never cease to serve Him but that I would need mercy new every morning. He was faithful to pour down mercy on me, night after night, day after day. His love never ceased. Through all my mistakes, through all my doubts, through all my fears, He remained faithful to me and He will to you as well.
2 Timothy 2:13 says; When we are faithless, He remains faithful…because He cannot deny Himself.
When we are faith-less, He is still faith-full. I think of the times I went through when my Dad died, and then Jesse, and then my sister, Tanya, and then there was the closing of my business and the trouble in my marriage, and financial difficulty, and attacks on my body, it seemed to never end. There were months when I questioned things and battled to hold on to my faith, yet, my God, He remained faithful. He stayed with me through it all. He brought me out of that dark season and into the light of His love. He could not deny Himself and He could not deny His word to me.
Friends, God is faithful. His mercy is new each morning. He will never fail you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. You may walk through a hard season but know that He is already there and He will not leave you, in fact, He will bring you out into the light of His love. Trust Him.
Do you need a fresh start? He is here, waiting for you, begin again. Trust in His faithfulness.
