I was reading an article today by Jerry Savelle.  He shared something the Lord had spoken to him.

He said, “In 2020, I will open a new door and bring about supernatural increase beyond anything you’ve ever experienced before.”

He went on to say he asked God two questions.  First, “What this for him personally, or for the Body of Christ?”

God replied, “It was indeed for the Body of Christ.”

His second question was, “God, did you mean to say door or doors?”

God replied, “All it takes is one.”

I LOVE THAT ANSWER.

Brother Jerry shared that this word is still relevant today – it DID NOT END last year.

I could not get this word off my mind for the rest of the day.  As I prayed into this word, the Lord reminded me of a dream I had in May of 2016.  Actually, two dreams in the same night.

When this happens, it always takes me back to Genesis 41:32, “And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.”

In the first dream, I was led to a house.  As I walked up to the door, I took hold of the doorknob and realized it was unlocked. Hesitantly, I went into the house. This house belonged to my grandparents and great grandparents and many other family members before them. I knew it was a place that held my inheritance.  I knew in my spirit that it was time to take what belonged to me.  My inheritance that had been laid up for me.

This was a house that had no limits. What I mean by that is, I walked into room after room, filled with wonderful things, however I never saw the end of the rooms, it just kept going.

In the first dream, I was timid about the inheritance and felt I should gather it and share it with all my other family members, like cousins and aunts.  Yet, even in the dream I could feel that wasn’t the right perspective. I knew it wasn’t what I was supposed to do.  I woke up.

When I went back to sleep, I dreamed the same thing again.

This time I was amazed and delighted that the door was open! I knew it was opened just for me and that no one else would find this particular door open to them. I knew this because there were people all around and no one else found the door unlocked.  This was MY door and MY property and MY inheritance. I was excited!

I quickly went into the house and began gathering my inheritance. There were all kinds of treasures.  Lots of things I enjoy, like antiques, sewing machines, quilts, diamonds, emerald jewelry, books, journals, kitchen appliances, beautiful pictures and furniture, and there were even valuable items marked for my grandkids.

In this second dream a man was in the house and he kept handing me treasures and saying, “…and this is for you…and this is for your daughter, and this for your grandchildren…and this is for you also…here take this, it’s yours…” Treasure after treasure was handed to me. As I looked through the rooms, I was amazed at my inheritance. Things were everywhere.  I also found money, coins and currency hidden in the oddest places. Just like the first dream, this house had no end. It simply went on and on.

As I awoke from the second dream the Lord said to me, “The door is open. Your inheritance is a sure thing. Go on in and partake of what is yours.”

These words, sure thing, took me back to something I studied a few days before.

I was looking at the word AMEN. I had always been taught that it means, so be it, and that is part of its meaning. However, it also means, a sure thing; something already completed.

As the Lord spoke to me that morning, I felt He was putting His AMEN on that dream. “It is already done” He said, “go on in, the door is open for you.”

We have an inheritance in God. Scriptures declares and confirms it.

Ephesians 1:11-14, “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”

Psalm 37:29, “The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever.”

Colossians 1:12, “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”

Our inheritance comes through Jesus, who IS THE DOOR, as John 10:9 tells us.

Isaiah 22:22 says that Jesus will open doors no man can shut. In my dream, the door was open day and night, BUT only open for me. No one else could walk into my inheritance for me, I had to turn the knob and walk in for myself.

Finally, Isaiah 45:3 says, “I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.”

In summary, it was repeated twice because it is established in Christ. The door was open, and Jesus is saying, “Come on in, it’s time. Come in and receive your inheritance.”

Finally, it’s up to us to open the door and enter into our inheritance and partake of it. No one else can do it for us.

Today, I thank God for the word to Jerry Savelle.  I thank God for His reminder of that dream and the inheritance that is awaiting us.  Let us turn that knob, enter that door and lay hold of all that belongs to us today.  How do we do that?  By faith, just like everything else.

May we declare, “God is opening a NEW door unto me, He is bringing me supernatural increase unlike anything I have ever experienced.  By faith, I walk through that door and I lay hold of everything that God says is mine this very year.  It is mine now, in Jesus name.  Amen.” (it is a sure thing!  It’s already done)

God says He is opening the door, may we turn the knob and enter into our full inheritance.

Meditate on this:

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Cor. 1:20
