Imagine what Jesus must have felt hanging on the cross. What did He see in the natural? He saw people jeering at Him and mocking Him and spitting on Him. But what did He really see? The Bible says that He endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him. He didn’t see the moment He was in, He saw redemption, He saw your joy in redemption, He saw you being healed and set free, He saw you walking in the abundant life. He set His eyes on the promise of the Word and endured to the point that the promise manifested. Today, with His eyes, He can see you and I walking in victory because of what He chose to see that day.
God told Abraham, whatever you see with your eyes, it’s yours, I will give it to you. What do you see with your eyes today? Are you looking at the circumstances or are you looking at the promise. It is imperative to keep the promise before your eyes. Absolutely vital. Because once you see it, perceive it, it will become yours.
