If you want to receive a hundredfold in this season or in the time of famine, you must do just as Isaac did – keep sowing. Keep giving. Show the enemy that you are not moved by what you see, you are moved by one thing; the word of God and it says ‘give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, shaken together and running over shall men give unto your bosom.’
There is a Biblical way out of lack – give. Give as God tells you too. Don’t allow fear to dictate to you, not during bad times or good. You may think you have nothing to give. Even if you don’t have money to give, give a meal and tell the enemy that your family will not go without a meal during this season, in Jesus name. Give a tank of gas and tell the enemy that your car will remain full of gas throughout this season.
We are the church – if we are not doing our part, the people who depend on us will suffer. That’s not God’s plan – His people always, always prospered during famine – you are one of those. You are one of those. Trust Him during this time. Don’t walk in fear. Trust God – He is so faithful and this is a perfect opportunity to allow Him to show Himself strong on your behalf – and He desires to do just that.
