This I have discovered, the only people that the enemy can get a hold on and wreak havoc in their lives is the ones who have no peace. Peace is an aggressive weapon, just like prayer, or faith, or confession – peace is just as important. The enemy can’t hold onto you if you hold your peace. It would be like him trying to hold onto something slippery – he can’t keep his grip. Sure, he can come and whisper things in your ear and try to antagonize you, but unless he can get you to accept his thoughts and agree with him, you will remain in peace, and he can’t touch you there.
