Kingdom living. We all press toward the promise of Kingdom life. What does kingdom living have to do with Amos 9:13?

Amos 9:13 say; Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.

We all love this scripture and the time it talks about. A time when we put our seed in the ground and harvest is already there, don’t we? Okay, now travel with me to another scripture found in the New Testament.

In John 4:35, Jesus said; Do you not say, there are still four months and then comes the harvest? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

Jesus is saying, it is already there! We don’t have to wait for ‘that day’ it is already here.

I began to think about this the other day when I was praying for a family member. As I prayed for them, the Lord said, ‘she is already free, she just needs to walk it out, it is already there.’

It’s already there.

The Lord began to take me to scriptures where a miracle was needed and it was already there. Let me share a few with you today.

Remember Abraham, in Genesis 22, God commanded him to go to a certain place and offer his promised son, Isaac to the Lord as a sacrifice. Abraham obeyed. Yet God had provided a sacrifice for Himself, the Bible says. A ram was in the thicket. The ram was already there.

How about the day Jesus and His disciples needed money to pay taxes? Jesus told Peter to go fishing and look in the mouth of the fish, how odd is that? Peter obeyed. There was a coin, enough to cover the taxes, in the mouth of the fish. The provision was already there.

In 2 Kings 4, we find a widow woman in need of a miracle in her finances. The man of God asked what she had in her house. She replied, ‘only a bottle of oil.’ The man gave her instructions, she obeyed and was provided for until the famine ended. She went and gathered vessels for oil, that was already there. The need was met before she even asked.

How about Elisha’s servant? Remember in 2 Kings 6, Elisha’s servant was afraid of the vast army that was coming against them. But Elisha knew better. Elisha asked God to open the eyes of his servant so he could see there was more with them than against them. God opened his servant’s eyes to see what was already there.

Oh my! This is exciting to me. What do you have need of? It is already there!

Galatians 3:13 says; Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree).

John 19:28-30 says; After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So, when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” and bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

When Jesus declared ‘it is finished’ He was, saying, it is already done. Whatever you have need of, it is done, it is finished.

Do you need healing today? It is already there. Do you need deliverance today? It is already there, as surely as the ram was in the thicket, it is already there.

Do you need your harvest today? It, too, is already there. Just as the children of Israel walked out of the land of bondage with all the plunder, your harvest is already there as well. Ask God to open your eyes and allow you to see from His perspective. The plunder for the people of God was in place before they left that land, it was already there.

As I was writing this today a song arose in my spirit. It says, ‘all I have needed, thy hand hath provided, great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.’ This is truth. Whatever you have need of today, the faithful hand of God has already provided it. It is already there!

Prayer for Today: Father, I ask you to open our eyes to see what you have already provided today, in Jesus name. Amen.
