images (4)A scripture has been on my mind for this entire week, over and over again God has brought up this word to me and reminded me of the power of writing our vision.

Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2-3

As I was thinking on this scripture yesterday Breanne opened her prayer book and said ‘Look Mom! It’s Brandon’s truck.’

You see, a year or so ago Breanne had made a prayer book/ vision book and put a picture of the truck her husband desired, he is now driving that truck. How good is our God!

As most of you know, I always have a prayer/ vision board that I pray over in agreement with the scripture in Habakkuk. I believe the Lord is saying it is time to freshen up my board. Seek His face and create a vision/ prayer board for this hour.

I think many of us have become discouraged and disappointed over the past year and no longer have a fresh expectancy of what we are praying for…it’s time to stir up the gift of faith that is within us and create a new vision board, put it before our face and create our world with our words….words that line up with what God has for us of course.

We don’t organize our home or office one time and then let it go. No, we freshen it up every so often to make sure things are in place and we toss out the things we no longer need. We must do the same thing with our spiritual walk and with our prayer board…freshen it up…add what needs to be added, revise some things, remove some things…allow God to led us in this task.

I was thinking about all this as I came into the office this morning. And again, God confirmed this word to me. I checked my email and read an email from the Elijah List with Joey LeTourneau. I want to share an excerpt with you:

“Vision is an important and interesting subject. It is both micro (personal) and macro (God’s perspective). God has given us each a picture within His big picture. He uses ours to fulfill His and uses His to fulfill ours. We each have a smaller, still frame, a scene that is part of the bigger moving picture or film, that God is revealing to the earth. We all have different appointed times within His big release, but He does have a big release when the world will know what He has been working on and pouring into each of us the whole time—and how they all work together.” (Joey LeTourneau, Elijah List)

Isn’t that good! Friends, it is time to write the vision and make it plain. Put it before your eyes and meditate on what God has promised you. When it is deep within your spirit, began to declare and prophesy your future, you have the power within you to do just that. It’s time, let’s get it done!
