Please join us in praying for all the families and loved in this nation affected by the recent shootings this week. 2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us –
“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
So, Father, we take this moment and humble ourselves before You and we cry out for mercy on our nation! Mercy! We cry for mercy! Lord Jesus – comfort the grieving as only You can… Guide the civil authorities in these trying days…. minister to the hearts of the brokenhearted… Holy Spirit, only You can destroy the barrier, this dividing wall of hostility and make the two one. (Ephesians 2:14) As believers Lord, we repent and we ask You to forgive us and hear our cries for help! We need You Father and we want You! Lead us in the ways we should go – in our every day actions with our fellow man. Please forgive our sin and heal our land. We cry out for mercy because Mercy triumphs over judgment! (James 2:13b)
