It’s the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes. Song of Solomon 2:15

The Amplified says it like this; Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that spoil and ruin the vineyards, while our vineyards are in blossom.
This scripture came to mind as I sat down to write the February Partner Letter.

Once I finished that letter and saw a few of the responses, it was a moment of putting the puzzle pieces together as I thought of a dream I had last night, the partner letter and what Kelita shared with our partners…let me tell you my puzzle story.

I woke up this morning from a dream. In my dream, I had moved from where I am now into an old trailer with old furniture. People around me had urged me to make the move to save money. I did move for a short time, but all the time I was thinking ‘this is not what I am believing for, this is not what I asked for.’ Finally, I looked around where I was and said ‘NO, this is not my harvest, I am not having this.’ And I moved out.
I woke up thinking ‘what a yucky dream, I am not having that!’

You see, for the past year I have been praying and believing God for a new home with property and that was not it.

I came into the office and wrote the partner message that God gave me to send out to our partners.

Kelita had no idea what I was writing, so when I sent it to her to proofread, this was her response to our partners:

As I was reading the partner letter this morning before it goes out, I could hardly believe what I was reading! Although Kim and I have talked the last couple of days about shifting and the change we are in, I did not know what she was going to say in our monthly partner letter.

You see, I talk to God and pray on my way to work every day and today was no different. My husband and I are believing to get out of debt and are working on ways to do what we know to do in the natural to make this happen. However, we like many, are tired of working hard and doing extra things to get money, only to have something steal it. (our most recent theft was him hitting a deer and costing us $1000 of money we have earmarked for debt). So, as I was talking to the Lord this morning, I repented for anything we have done to allow these thefts through our words, actions or doubt and unbelief and then I said OUT LOUD: I AM SHAMMAH! AND ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! No more harvests stolen!!! Who is Shammah? Years ago, I heard a minister preach about a man under King David named Shammah and the Philistines kept coming and stealing his harvest. One year, he said he had had enough and fought back and the Lord was with him and they did NOT take his harvest and the cycle stopped! (2 Sam)

Partners, if this is not a glorious confirmation to the word Kim is delivering to us today! I declared out loud this morning that the enemy would no longer steal my harvest and an hour later I read the same words from Kim. God is speaking! Shammah means “astonishment”. I say we astonish our enemy from this day forward as we draw a bloodline over our harvest and declare Enough is Enough!

And one more thing: The Lord had me reading in Judges 7 yesterday as I was meditating on the Sound of Breakthrough Kim taught. I kept thinking how God magnified Gideon and his 300 men and the sound of 300 jars breaking, 300 trumpets blaring and 300 voices shouting. It frightened the enemy and they panicked and ran. (they were perhaps astonished??) The Bible says these Midianites were so many they looked like locusts, yet, when Gideon and his 300 men released the sound of breakthrough and were obedient to God, they were victorious. God is also confirming His word with this as well, because as Kim was preparing the principle of what we are to do to get our harvest, God had me reading the victory that takes place in the very next chapter. Friends, God already has our victory planned and promised before we ever get there!

Back to the scripture in Song of Solomon. I once did a study on this verse and found the foxes come at the time of harvest, not before, but during, once the harvest is in blossom. That’s when they show up.

I believe we are in harvest time! It is like I shared with our partners, harvest time is work. A part of that work is not allowing the little foxes to spoil the vine. In other words, not allowing anything to hinder, disturb or delay your harvest.

Today, I want you to press in for your harvest, ask God to show you exactly how to harvest what you have planted…He is faithful, and He will do it.

As Kelita said, ‘our victory is already planned and promised’ now it is time to lay hold of it. Settle for nothing less than all God has for you – it’s time…it’s Harvest Time!
