Yesterday, after I wrote the article on “Can You See the New?” Kelita sent me this from Nate Johnston. I want to share it with you today as I believe it confirms yesterday’s writing. I pray it encourages you today.
“This is where you see what all the opposition and chatter of this year has provided for you. This is where you the see the new doors, new favor, and new territory that has come because you chose to fix yourself in me when the arrows were flying. This is where I turn your mourning into dancing and soul depletion into a surge of strength. This is where I take the sheet off the NEW THING that I have been longing to reveal to you, the new people, and the legacy assignment that has been in contention. This is where you shake off EVERYTHING, the slander, the behind the scenes accusations, the limiting, stifling, muzzling, the cutting and wounding words, the tatters of your last seasons mantle, and the heavy yokes that have been wearing you thin and you STEP IN to the wide open space I have been preparing for you!”
I believe many of us are about to step into the new. I am not sure what all that means. I think for some it will be a new place they will occupy – even in the natural – many will be moving to new places.
I also think many who have walked through the past few years in faithfulness will begin to occupy new places in the Spirit – not new to God – but new to us. Places we are destined to occupy.
I see new doors opening, new opportunities and new territory coming to the Body of Christ who have stuck to God like glue through all the chaos.
I see mourning turning to dancing. Some days I will be going about my day, and I get such a sudden excitement in my spirit that I have to stop and praise God or stop and dance before the Lord. It just comes over me, almost like God has a secret, a present for His people that He can hardly wait to show us.
I see the soul depletion being turned into supernatural strength. I don’t know about you, but the battles, the challenges have caused me to go deep. I think about trees during drought. It is said they will go deep into the earth searching for water. I have gone deep into the things of God searching for the strength and nourishment that I know only comes from Him. I am sure many of you have done the same. That depth will bring a strength that could only come from God. It will certainly be supernatural.
Many of us have endured slander, accusations, and wounding words but there is one in who has the balm of Gilead and will heal those wounds and it will be like it never happened. Some of us have carried heavy loads this past season. Loads we never thought we could bear and keep moving. Never ending challenges that seemed to go on and on. God is lifting those loads. It’s true. Believe it and receive it.
Romans 8:18 says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
One translation says the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared to the glory which will be revealed TO US and THROUGH US. I love that!
My friends, take courage, God will fulfill every single word He has promised or spoken to you. Every promise in His Word will come to pass, just hold on. Step into the new and take a front seat to the manifestation of His glory to you and through you. AMEN!
