After yesterday’s writing on tipping points, I continued to ponder on this subject and I wanted to share a little more, if I may.

Tipping points are relevant in every area of our spiritual walk.

There will be tipping points in our giving, that is biblically true – and there are tipping points in our prayers as well.

We know from scripture that if we continue to sow financially, we will reap, financially. Additionally, if we continue to sow to the Spirit we will reap, just as the word says, those who sow to the Spirit will also reap.

Galatians 6:7-10 says; Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Our prayer and fasting times are sowing to the spirit. Our times of worship and praise are sowing into the Spirit.

If we continue to sow in prayer, the day will come when there is a tipping point. When that happens, that thing we have been praying about for weeks, months, or even years, will tip and that thing will come to pass. We will see it with our eyes.

Our prayers are powerful, they change things.

James 5:16 says; the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

This scripture lets us know that there is power in our prayers – effective power – power that changes things.

I love the way the Amplified says it; The earnest, heartfelt, continued, prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working.

Do you realize YOUR prayers have tremendous power? Do you realize YOUR prayers have power that is dynamic? Many of us don’t believe that, nevertheless, it is true, the Bible says it is.

Prayer changes things. Confession changes things. When we are sowing into the spirit, things change.

If you want things to change, PRAY! Pray and pray and pray. And trust God. He is faithful to His word. He will do what He said He would do. Every single time.

Many people will ask, how long will it take? The answer to that is simple. As long as it takes.

Pray until it changes.

Remember the woman who went before the unjust judge? He did not want to grant her request, but he did. Why? Because she would not give up. She went to him time and time again until he answered her request. (Luke 18)

Don’t grow weary in well doing. Pray and know that your prayers have dynamic power and are producing great results.

Mighty men and women of God before us prayed and refused to give up, we must do the same. Pray and refuse to give up. God hears, and your prayers are coming up before Him.

Acts 10:4 says; your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.

This remains true today. Your prayers are coming up before God and He will answer. Just keep praying.

Meditate on this:
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
