In January of this year, I was preparing my prayer board for the year with the things I felt God was putting on my heart. Two of the things I knew God spoke to me (and I placed on my board) are now being preached as Words from God for 2022. This encourages me greatly.
One of the things on my prayer board says, OPEN HEAVEN.
Another thing is: OPEN HAND OF GOD.
What does open heaven refer to?
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. Ez. 1:1
When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Mt. 3:16
And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” John 1:51
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10
When heavens are opened…
We can see visions of God.
God speaks.
Angels go back and forth, bringing the blessings of God.
God pours out blessings we don’t even have enough room to receive.
How about the open hand of God?
Psalm 145:16 says, “You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.”
What is your desire today?
I love that this scripture says, God will SATISFY the desire of every living thing. To satisfy means to meet the expectation of or to fulfill. God is fulfilling His Word in this season.
For those who have been found faithful, God is fulfilling His Word. If you have been a tither and a giver – get ready for the windows of heaven to open and pour out a blessing you can’t contain. If you have been found faithful to God and His Word, prepare to see visions, to hear God speak clearly to you and to have blessings poured out on you week after week.
As for the hand I God, I see it like this. Think about a father who has a surprise or a piece of candy in his hand. He opens that hand to a child to show them what is in his hand – they reach up and take it. This is how I see it.
God’s hand is open with good things, blessings, restorations, debt- cancellations, reconciliations, healings, peace, houses and lands, whatever you have been believing God for, if you have been found faithful, His hand is opened to you today – reach up and take it.
That’s what I have been doing all weekend. In my prayer time, I can see His hand opened, therefore, I reach up and declare, “I am taking all you have for me God.” I encourage you to do the same.
My friends, the heavens are open – the hand of God is open – take your blessings and give all praise and honor to God.
Appoint My Days
Today, I rejoice in the Lord! And tomorrow I will continue! I will rejoice and be glad each day! I will be an example of what it is to follow Jesus. I will not be anxious about anything, but I will pray about all things with great thanksgiving which will allow peace to stand watch over my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus!
