This past week I received several testimonies from our partners and readers. I love testimonies. I love to hear what God is doing in the lives of others – testimonies are a vital part of the life of a believer.
It is a principle of a victorious Christian. In the Bible it is called ‘the word of our testimony.’
Revelation 12:11 states they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. I have been thinking about these emails and how they are declaring the word of their testimony. Our testimony causes us to overcome….but we don’t have to wait until we physically see the answer to declare the word of our testimony, we can, and should start declaring the word of our testimony now.
Yesterday, I had received an email from one of our prayer team and she was talking about how she prayed for someone and she prayed ‘the word of my testimony is that she is healed right now.’ That statement jumped in my spirit and I knew it was an anointed and true word.
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. In this one scripture Jesus is showing us how to come out victorious every single time. The blood of the Lamb has already been shed, it is finished. The only thing lacking is the word of our testimony.
The word of testimony is something decreed, a word uttered by a living voice. That voice must be yours if you are to gain and walk in the victory that Jesus died to give you.
It can’t be what someone else is praying for you. It must be the word of YOUR testimony. If you request pray for healing and then continue to declare how sick you are, you will not see the victory that belongs to you, you will only see the word of your testimony, which is declaring how sick you are. If you ask God to bless you financially but continue to complain about lack – keep in mind, your complaining IS the word of your testimony.
I know it doesn’t happen quickly in every situation, however, it will happen if you continue to stand on this one scripture and declare your testimony.
I don’t know what you are challenged with today but I do know that the blood had already been shed and once you couple that with the word of your testimony (that lines up with the word of God) you will begin to see results. You will begin to see and walk in the victory that Jesus died to give you.
Don’t allow His shed blood for your victory to be in vain. Allow it to propel you to testify and gain victory over your challenges. It’s the word of God and it can’t lie.
So, my question to you today is; what is the word of your testimony? And are you declaring it? I hope you are. We are praying for you, the word of our testimony is that you are healed and whole. You are blessed beyond measure. You are walking daily in the glory and favor of God. You are daily loaded with benefits. Your family is blessed, every generational curse is broken off you and your family and you are walking in the freedom Jesus died to give you. That is our testimony – what is yours?
