‘Position yourself.’ These are the first words I heard as I opened my eyes on Sunday morning.

I have a great anticipation of the days ahead, therefore these words ‘position yourself’ put me on high alert in my spirit.

As the day went on, I could not get these words out of my mind.

My mind drifted to 2 Chronicles 20:17 which says; You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you.

The word position is defined as; to take ones stand or to station yourself.

In the King James version of the Bible, it says ‘set yourself.’

We know what our position is, it is one of faith. It is one of a steadfast, determined faith that refuses to move off Gods word and Gods promises to us.

Therefore, when I heard these words, it felt to me that God was saying, take your stand and refuse to move, trusting fully that God will do all He has vowed and promised.

Later that day when I sowed my first fruit offering, I received a receipt that said, ‘this is a month of good fortune, we are declaring that you will rise up to be positioned to prevail with the King in the field.’

Wow! I knew God was confirming His word to me to position myself. I also believe part of positioning myself was sowing my first fruit offering.
Are you in position to receive today? Are you in position to prevail this day? I pray you are.

As I continued to meditate on what the Lord had said, He led me to yet another scripture. It is found in Proverbs 31, and it is talking about the Proverbs 31 woman.

It says in the Amplified Bible; Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; And she smiles at the future, knowing that she and her family are prepared. Proverbs 31:25

I love this…her position is strong and secure! That is where we all need to find ourselves today, in a strong and secure position. How do we do that? By fully trusting in God and His word. By being fully persuaded, like Abraham, that what God said to us, He will fulfill in this season.
I believe if we are fully persuaded and fully trusting God, we too will find ourselves in a strong and secure position.

The scripture says; You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you.
We don’t need to fight this battle, we only need to position ourselves and stand firm…knowing we will see the salvation of our Lord, because He is with us.

Salvation is defined as; salvation, deliverance, welfare, prosperity and victory.

This definition agrees with the email from my first fruit offering that said, ‘we are declaring you are positioned to prevail.’ As I am positioned to prevail I WILL see the victory of the Lord. As you are positioned to prevail YOU will see the victory of the Lord.

Today, position yourself, stand firm in faith and know you will see the salvation, the deliverance, the prosperity and the victory of the Lord! It’s time to see victory…to perceive victory! Set yourself and your mind to see the victory of the Lord.

Prayer for Today: Father, today I position myself to see the salvation, the victory of the Lord. I stand firm in my faith and see God’s victory in my life. This day, I declare, I perceive and experience the victory of the Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.
