Eccl. 4:9-10 says; Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.

This is the scripture that was on my mind this past weekend as I drove to my Mom’s to cut and remove trees and limbs that had fallen on her home.
My younger sister had called early that morning and ask if I would come help her clean up Mom’s yard. As I was getting ready, I called my Aunt and Uncle to see what size ladder we would need to get up on her house. I loaded my vehicle with rakes and gloves and drove toward her house, reflecting on the previous week.

I was expressing my gratitude to God for all He had done that week and how He had people all around the world praying for and with us. I was meditating on the word of God that says ‘two are better than one’ and the one that says ‘one puts a thousand to flight, two puts ten thousand to flight.’

Shortly after my arrival at Moms, my sister arrived. We began to clear away brush and tree limbs. A half-hour later my aunt & uncle arrived to help. I thought ‘thank you Jesus, this is lightening our load.’ Then another cousin pulled in to help with a chain saw, then Breanne and the kids arrived to help carry away limbs.

What initially seemed to be an overwhelming task was done quicker than we thought and better than we could have done with just the two of us. God is good.

This is the same principle I see at work each time we email our faithful partners for the prayer of agreement. I can literally feel the moment they begin to pray. The burden lifts and becomes lighter and lighter as we all agree together and pray Gods plan and purpose for the situation.

Lev. 26:8 says; Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.

Joshua 23:10 says; One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you.

I have seen this promise in full force this week as our partners have prayed with us and ministered to us this week.

I was becoming weary when thing after thing was hitting, but then you guys began to pray and come into agreement with us and the heavy weight began to lift as God heard our prayers. Words cannot express our gratitude. It is an amazing thing to know that we have friends and partners who will truly take the time to pray and seek God on our behalf.

Today, I am strong in God and the weariness has gone. His promises are true and His mercy is new every morning. His faithfulness is awesome and I do give Him all the glory.

That being said, I also believe your faithfulness to pray made a huge difference this week…THANK YOU!

Matthew 18:19 says; Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Apart from God we can do nothing. That is a truth. Another truth is as we band together in unity, nothing shall be impossible to us or for us.

As we came together in prayer, just as the scripture said in Joshua, enemies were put to flight.

There is so much power in agreement and there is great power in unity and partnership. We stand strong WITH you on a daily basis and YOU stand strong with us as well. We will enter our promised land in this season and we will do it together. We are in a Kairos moment and we will receive all God has for us in this season…as a body.

Remember this today, you are not alone, we are a body, not one part, we are a body and we are here for you. Should you need prayer, let us know. We will stand firm with you to the very end. We will lock arms with you until you see the promise of God fulfilled in your life. That is what partnership and unity is all about.

Thank you for standing with us…thank you for putting enemies to flight on our behalf. May God richly bless you.

We are family and we are blessed by God…empowered to prosper and succeed and we will prosper and succeed together in Jesus’ name. IN THIS NOW SEASON.
