…so that every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Matthew 18:16
God always confirms His Word. At least that is my experience. He will often tell me the same thing over and again through several different people, until He gets my attention. When He does that, it is HIM, confirming His word.
I don’t know if it has ever happened to you, but there have been many times in my life when in a particular season I would see the same scripture everywhere I turned. Or the same numbers each time I look at the clock. Or hear the same subject preached from several different ministers. Or even see signs along the roadway – God speaks in many ways. It’s up to us to watch for the signs and heed them. To pay attention to things that seem to be repetitive.
We are only halfway through the year, yet, I have recently heard from several people who are battling discouragement. Prophetically, I continue to hear that God is moving in this hour. That God is going to do great things in 2022.
I also continue hearing ministers encouraging us to press into God. To not give up. To hold steady. I don’t know about you, but I have personally felt the pressure of the enemy during this time. He is pressing also – pressing us and trying to get us to give up. To let go of the promise. To release the vision. He is trying to get us into fear. It seems to me the battle has intensified to give up. To settle for less than what we are praying for.
As I was preparing for work today, thinking about all this when I heard the Lord speak to my heart.
Prophetically, I continue to hear that God is moving in this hour.
That God is going to do great things in 2022.
He gently said, “Wonder what the enemy is trying to keep you from? Don’t you wonder why he is trying to keep you down? What does he know, what does he see, that you don’t yet see?” I needed to hear those words. They invigorated me. I hope they do the same for you today.
I know many of you are weary. I know some of you have lost faith in God answering your prayers this year as you look around at the chaos and environment of our world today. Perhaps, you have moved on to hoping for a better year to come. I understand that. However, I implore you to hold steady. To keep believing. To keep confessing, praying, and declaring His faithfulness.
July is a month of freedom. May we all press into walking in all the freedoms we have been given in Christ. May we determine in our heart right now, that this month will be a month of pressing in more than ever. It will be a month of faithfulness in prayer. Faithfulness in standing firm.
Let it be our month of casting our net of faith ONE MORE TIME. I know. I know. You have been disappointed in the past. You, like the fishermen that night, are weary from a long, dark, tedious night of casting nets. I get it. But cast them one more time. Continue to have faith in His Word and His faithfulness.
Let’s remain strong in the Lord! Let’s continue each day in heightened expectation that we will see the hand of God working on our behalf and we will see the goodness of God in the land of the living. It’s not over until we see the fulness of His goodness in our life. Listen and watch for Him to speak to you. To confirm His Word to you. And expect Him to show up on your behalf this month. Also, know we are standing in faith with you. We expect you will see His goodness manifested in your life…suddenly and without measure. To God alone, be all the glory.
