“From now on, things are going to be easier.”

These are the last words I heard before waking up from a dream Monday morning.

I don’t know about you, but the past few months have been anything but easy – then God gave me a dream.

I dreamed Breanne and I were at work, in our office.  It wasn’t where it is now, it was on a high hill or mountain, in a very large building.  We were preparing to leave for the day, it seemed to be a Friday – as it felt we were leaving for the weekend.

I walked to my vehicle, (the same one I have now) and got in to leave.  I saw Breanne had left me a note on my steering wheel.  It basically read, “Enjoy! What are your plans for your two days off?”

I started up the vehicle and began to drive out of the parking lot.  The road I was driving on had been newly paved.  It was so smooth and nice and wide – I was thinking about how pleasant it even felt to drive on.  It was a wonderful road.  And it was all downhill.

I drove down the hill, on what seemed to be a ramp area, I had to slow down at the bottom to get on the highway. I veered to the right onto the highway. This road was also new and so smooth – it felt like you were gliding along it.

Suddenly the Lord spoke to me and said, “From now on things are going to get easier.”

I replied, “You have said that to me before in times past.”

He said, “NOW, things are going to get easier – can’t you SEE it?!”

I knew when He said those words, He meant perceive it.  I knew the road I was driving on – how smooth, pleasant and easy it seemed to be was what He was wanting me to see…this was how the days ahead would become.

I woke up.

“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.” The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Isaiah 40:1-5

Isaiah 45:2 says, “I will go before you and level the mountains to make the crooked places straight.”

In the dream, this is what it felt like God had done – gone before us and leveled the mountain and made the crooked places straight.

This was so encouraging to me as we have been speaking to mountains knowing God’s word says when we speak to the mountain, it must move.

Things are going to get easier – can we perceive it?

Isaiah 43:19 says, “Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

In the Strong’s Concordance, perceive is defined as a resonating sense of inner discernment.

To believe “things are going to get easier now” we must have God’s perspective.  See things from His point of view.

Looking at our world today, it appears they are getting worse – BUT GOD SAYS, “things are going to get easier.”

I choose to believe what He said.  I choose to partner with that truth and walk in it.  It is my confession that God says things are going to get easier therefore I declare this day over me and over you, “Thus saith the Lord God Almighty, things are going to get easier – I KNOW IT, I perceive it.  I have a resonating inner discernment that tells me it is truth.  I see things from God’s perspective.”

Appoint My Days

I give thanks today for my covenant of peace.  I am thankful that it will not be shaken, nor will it be removed.  I will be taught of the Lord, I and my household and great shall be our peace.  We shall serve the Lord.
