This past weekend, I received numerous calls and texts from people needing prayer. They were all facing the same challenge, the attacks were coming against their body. It seemed the enemy was on the warpath in his agenda to kill, steal and destroy.
I believe we are in a time of promise, preparing to walk into the Promised Land, just like the children of Israel did. I remind you today – when they walked out of bondage – there was not one feeble among them. Not ONE.
Feeble means to be physically weak from sickness or age. There was none weak from sickness, disease, or age. Can you imagine that? Can you imagine the body of Christ totally healed and restored back to life and health?
I can. Jesus did. That’s why he went to the cross. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy BUT Jesus came that we might have life and life more abundantly. It is NOT God’s will for us to be sick, weak, or diseased. Frankly, He paid a high price, by sending Jesus to the cross so we could live in health and wholeness.
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them an abundance of prosperity and security. (Jer 33:6)
For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord. (Jer 30:17)
Jesus took our sickness. Let that get down into your spirit. Healing and wholeness already belongs to us – but as I always say – it is up to us to take it. And. The enemy is going to try everything he can to convince us that we are not healed. He will send every symptom and every fear our way hoping we will come into agreement with him instead of standing firm on the Word of God.
As I stated, I am hearing more and more people coming under physical attacks lately – and many are afraid. My friend, first of all, God has not given us a spirit of fear but of POWER, love and a sound mind. Refuse fear.
Secondly, Jesus came that we might have abundant life – that includes healing and health. I love Psalm 41:3.
The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health.
Are you battling sickness today? If so, grab onto this scripture and declare GOD IS RESTORING ME TO FULL HEALTH. Say it until it gets deep inside your body, your mind, and your spirit.
God is restoring YOU to full health. God is restoring your children to full health. Every loved one is being restored to full health. How is this even possible? It is possible because of the finished work of Christ.
Perhaps this is not the scripture that speaks to you – that’s okay. It was the one that spoke to me this weekend, but find YOUR scripture – the one that speaks to the deepest part of you. Dig through the Bible and find healing scriptures. Find the one that jumps in your spirit and begin to declare that scripture. Meditate on it day and night. It will make your way successful.
This I know for certain. By HIS STRIPES WE WERE HEALED. It’s time we settle for nothing less than full health, don’t you agree? If so, let’s get up and fight with the unchanging Word of God.
