According to WildfireToday.com “Wildfires that have been burning for weeks in the Southeast within 200 miles of where the states of Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina come together have been plaguing residents for weeks. Smoke created by the blazes at times has been covering large portions of the South.” The fires in Gatlinburg and parts of Tennessee are truly devastating. Loss of life, both human and animals is heart breaking, as well as businesses and nature! A meteorologist said that “the ideal scenario would then call for a period of approximately 24 hours of continuous – or near continuous – light to moderate rain, giving approximately 25-40mm of accumulation.” This tragedy must cease! We need to rise up as one and pray and petition the Lord.

Friends – Zechariah 10:1 says “Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.” heavy-rains-continue-in-himachal-more-in-store

So let’s do just that!

Father, we ask You, the Lord of the rain, to make the clouds and give us showers of rain over every field, road, town, and place that these fires are burning. Father, You said, if we ask You for bread You will not give us a stone so we ask in faith for the rains to fall and we agree together according to Matthew 18:19. Lord, we expect these rains to begin even now. We say fires – CEASE and back up! You will come no further! We plead the blood of Jesus over these regions, people, firefighters and businesses. We call for a minimum of 24 hours of continuous rain to move into these regions!  We speak specifically RIGHT NOW to the fires in Gatlinburg and we call you drowned in Jesus’ Name! We say not one more life will be lost! Not one more animal! Not one more business! It stops NOW! Angels, go and minister to rescue people and livestock supernaturally. Go and release the peace of heaven into this destruction and bring an end to this tragedy. We are heirs of salvation and we agree with the Word of God. We say Enough is enough! Now, Father, we thank You for Your mercy and are grateful for Your lovingkindness. In Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
