…so that every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Matthew 18:16

I thought of this scripture as I once again read a prophetic word that said God was not finished with this year.

God always confirms His word. At least that is my experience. He will often tell me the same thing over and again through several different people, until He gets my attention. When He does that, it is HIM, confirming His word.

I don’t know if it has ever happened to you, but there have been many times in my life when I would see the same scripture every where I turned. Or the same numbers each time I look at the clock. Or hear the same subject preached on from several different ministers. Or even see signs along the roadway – God speaks in many ways. It’s up to us to watch for the signs and heed them. To pay attention to things that seem to be repetitive .

As we near the end of this year, I have heard from several people who are battling discouragement. Yet, prophetically, I continue to hear that God is moving in this hour. That God is not finished working in 2019.

I keep hearing prophetic words telling us to press into God. To not give up. To hold steady. I don’t know about you, but I have personally felt the pressure of the enemy during this time. He is pressing also – pressing us and trying to get us to give up. To let go of the promise. To release the vision. He is trying to get us into fear.

It seems to me the battle has intensified to give up. To settle for less than what we are praying for.

I was preparing for work today, thinking about all this when I heard the Lord speak to my heart.

He gently said, “Wonder what the enemy is trying to keep you from? Don’t you wonder why he is trying to keep you down? What does he know, what does he see, that you don’t yet see?”

This weary soul needed to hear those words. They invigorated me. I hope they do the same for you today.

I know many of you are weary. I know some of you have lost faith in God answering your prayers this year – you have moved on to hoping for a better year next year. I understand that. However, I implore you to hold steady. To keep believing. To keep confessing, praying and declaring His faithfulness.

We are entering into December. I ask you to determine in your heart right now, that the month of December will be your month of pressing in more than ever. It will be your month of faithfulness in prayer. Faithfulness in standing firm.

Let it be your month of casting your net of faith ONE MORE TIME. I know. I know. You have been disappointed in the past. You, like the fishermen that night, are weary from a long, dark, tedious night of casting nets. I get it. But cast them one more time. Continue to have faith in His word and His faithfulness.

Let’s exit November strong in the Lord and in full faith. Let’s enter December in heightened expectation. It’s not over yet. It’s not over until we see the fullness of His goodness in our life. Listen and watch for Him to speak to you. To confirm His word to you. And expect Him to show up on your behalf this week and in the next four weeks. Also, know we are standing in faith with you. We expect you will see His goodness manifested in your life…suddenly and without measure. To God alone, be all the glory.

Meditate on this:
O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You, believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation. Psalm 84:12
