One of my favorite scriptures is found in Psalm 27:13, ‘I would have lost heart if I had not believed I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.’ I have walked through many, many times when I could have chosen to lose heart, but I didn’t. Why? Because I have come to know His faithfulness and I knew if He were faithful to me in the past, He would remain faithful to me now. I knew if I could hold on and trust in His Word that I would surely see His goodness manifested in my life. But many of those times I felt I was walking in blind faith. What I mean by that is that I was walking on faith alone. Simply trusting that God could not lie and would not fail me. Now that is not always an easy thing to do, but it can be done. The only way you can walk on faith alone is to trust the author and finisher of your faith, Jesus. He is always there and will never fail you. Selah!
