The things going on in our country saddens me greatly. I am sure it does you too.
I do not understand how we have come to the place where we are not safe, even in the house of God.
Prophets have been warning us all year long. They have been crying out ‘PRAY! PRAY!’ and many people have begun to pray. However, many have not. Many Christians look at the news and think it is horrible and pray for a day or so for the families involved and then move on with life.
Friends, we must PRAY and PRAY before tragedy happens. It is hard to build a storm shelter in the midst of a storm, but if we start now, praying and covering our families, our kids, our schools, our churches in the blood of Jesus Christ daily, I firmly believe we can stop a lot of this tragedy and take our country back.
Prayer changes things. If you believe nothing else, believe that truth. Prayer changes things.
I know I am speaking to the choir…or I should be…but am I?
Do you pray over your kids each day as you drop them off to school? Do you plead the blood over their school and each child there? Do you pray over your workplace? Do you pray about the places you are going to go into that day? If not, we should. Why? Because prayer changes things and can stop the enemy from working in your life.
This morning I instructed Mom to get me a list of every church in my city. I will do the same for the schools in my city and we will begin to pray over them daily and take them back. Our city…your city, does not belong to the devil and he shouldn’t be allowed to cause havoc or disaster in your city.
Our kids and our grandkids belong to God. They are covered in the blood of Jesus and they are off limits – but we must stand up and enforce that promise with the word of God.
Yes, the things that are happening sadden me, but even more than that, it angers me. We are a people of covenant, we have rights! We have covenant rights, but we will never live in that place of covenant rights fulfilled unless we enforce it in our land.
Lev. 26:6, in the New Living Translation says; I will give you peace in the land, and you will be able to sleep with no cause for fear. I will rid the land of wild animals and keep your enemies out of your land.
Joshua 21:44 says; And the LORD gave them rest on every side, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers, and no one of all their enemies stood before them; the LORD gave all their enemies into their hand.
1 Kings 5:4 says; But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side, and there is no adversary or disaster.
So, you see, we have these precious promises and peace is part of those promises. But, just as with any new land…we must take it, we must possess it and we do that by and in the Spirit, through the word and the promises of God.
I don’t know about you but for me, it is time to take it back. Take back our land. Take back our country. Take back our peace…for us, our family, our city, our county, our states and our nation. It is time to take it back.
Kelita is putting together a prayer team, a group of committed, faithful prayer warriors who will begin to pray over their cities, their schools, their states and their nation. We are going to take it back. It is my prayer that you, too, will begin to pray more, stand more and take back your land. You have a legal right to peace and rest on every side, with no adversary or disaster…take it back.
Prayer for today: Father, empower and equip us with a doubling of the anointing of God. Give us spirit led prayers, help us walk in faith and help us take back our land. Once city at a time, one state at a time, empower us to take it back. Father, I ask you to grant us peace on every side, with no adversary and no disaster, in Jesus name. Amen.
