“The anointing is on the stand.”

These are the words God spoke to me when I sought Him at the beginning of this year.

I don’t know why it works this way – but God can say one simple sentence and our spirit knows the completeness of what He is saying to us.

This one spoke to my heart, saying, “Those who stand in faith (in agreement with the word of God) this year will be immersed in MY anointing – MY yoke destroying, burden moving anointing.”

Stand is defined as; To be on its foundation; not to be overthrown or demolished, to be in a state of fixedness; hence, to continue; to endure, o be fixed or steady; not to vacillate, and to be in or to maintain a posture of resistance or defense.

Those who stand on the promises of God will see those promises manifest before their eyes.  That is a good word.

The flip side is those who waver, who allow circumstances to move them off the stand – will not see the promises fulfilled. That is a scary word. However, it is not something new – it has been in the Word of God all along.

James 1:6-8 says, “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

This will be the year of the stand – will YOU stand firm?

And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13-14

You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor. 15:58

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 1 Cor. 16:13

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Psalm 33:11-12

And finally…Ephesians 6:10-13, from the Amplified Bible.

Be strong in the Lord, be empowered through your union with Him; draw your strength from Him, that strength which His boundless might provides. Put on God’s whole armor, the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies, that you may be able successfully to stand up against all the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against, the master spirits who are, the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural sphere. Therefore, put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day of danger, and, having done all the crisis demands, to stand firmly in your place.

Standing is not a passive move – it is a faith move.  We stand firm, declaring what God’s Word says.  We stand immovable, knowing His Word has the final say and it will not fail.  We resist the devil and every negative thing he brings our way.  We stand in faith…knowing God has anointed our stand.  We will see the promise manifest…as we stand.

Meditate on this:

Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
