Yom Kippur began on September 22, at sundown. I was sitting in my office that afternoon when I received an email from The Elijah List with a word by Jeff Jansen. It was an audio and I don’t often take time to listen, but I was compelled to listen to this particular message.
As I listened to the word for Yom Kippur and this year ahead, I could feel the presence of God on his message. It was a great message. Yet, I felt I was missing a ‘key’ in the message, I began to meditate and ask God to show me what I was missing. As I awaited His answer, I decided to have it transcribed so that I could put it before my eyes, which often helps me.
The next morning Kelita was gracious to transcribe it for me. She sent it to me with an email and said ‘did you know that he referenced the verse in Daniel 9:22 at a time which was exactly 9:22 minutes into the message?’ I replied ‘I did not.’ However, I knew that was my key. I quickly grabbed my Bible and went to Daniel 9:22. I am sharing this with you because I believe with all that is within me that this is our key to a manifestation of the Jubilee year that Jeff speaks of.
Daniel 9:22 says ‘And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.’
You may remember the story, Daniel was seeking the Lord and God sent an angel to speak to Daniel. This is what the angel said ‘I have come to give you skill and understanding.’ I believe this is our key for this season we have just entered as well as the entire year in God’s calendar – we must cry out to God to give us, impart to us, skill and understanding.
Skill is defined in the Strong’s Concordance as to be prudent, circumspect, to wisely understand, to prosper, to have insight, to comprehend, and to prosper and have success.
We are in a season, a time appointed by God, where He desires to give us all the wisdom and insight we need to prosper and succeed.
The word understanding in the Strong’s Concordance means to discern, perceive and understand a thing.
I believe as we cry out to God for skill, understanding and wisdom that He will give it to us for this season. I believe that skill, wisdom and insight will cause us to prosper and succeed in whatever area we need prosperity in. It may be in your business. It may be in your family. It may be in your body. It may be in your finances or your investments. God has the wisdom and insight you need to bring forth prosperity and to bring it forth speedily.
James 1:5 says ‘If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.’
God wants you to have the wisdom, understanding and insight you need to prosper, all you have to do is ask and believe He will give it to you. We are in a season of receiving this wisdom, don’t let it pass you by, ask God for this awesome gift.
Additionally, I want to share some scriptures with you from the book of Psalms. It talks about the word of God giving us wisdom and understanding. I want to share it with you today from the Amplified Bible.
Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, For Your words are always with me.
I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers [because of Your word],
For Your testimonies are my meditation.
I understand more than the aged [who have not observed Your precepts],
Because I have observed and kept Your precepts. I have restrained my feet from every evil way,
That I may keep Your word.
I have not turned aside from Your ordinances, For You Yourself have taught me.
How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.
Ps 119:98-104
I believe we have entered into an awesome time in God – a destined Jubilee Year! I also believe we need to do certain things to see a manifestation of that Jubilee year in our life and I believe the key to those things are here, in Daniel 9:22. Cry out for wisdom and understanding. Get in the word of God and allow that word to work wisdom and understanding into your very being. We see here in Psalm 119 that this is exactly what comes from spending time in His word and keeping His precepts.

This is the year of 5776 – I am sending this to you on Yom Kippur on September 22, 2015 – This is a fullness of time juncture
This is a Jubilee year – it’s a year of Jubilee – it’s a key year that God sets His people free – and the Lord is obviously doing that again. It’s a year of freedom. It’s also the 70th Jubilee since Joshua crossed the Promised Land with the Ark of the Covenant to displace the giants… the 70th 50 years, which goes back 3500 years. There is massive symmetry here. The Lord spoke with me this morning and said it was significant because 70 is representative also of when the children of Israel came out of Babylon.
Yom Kippur – 9/22 – 70th Jubilee since Joshua displaced the giants and took the Promised Land AND represents the release from 70 years of Exile in Babylon.
In Daniel Chapter 9 – Daniel was reading – out of the book of Jeremiah, chapter 29 and we all know verse 11 but everyone neglects to see Daniel chapter 29 verse 10 where it says “This is what the Lord says: ‘When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfil my good promise to bring you back to this place.” – so 70 is a year of release – and this being the 70th Jubilee, it is the release of FREEDOM…. 70 Jubilee’s ago and Joshua dispossessed the giants and possessed the promises of God. That’s massively key on a Jubilee year. And 70 represents freedom from Babylon. All of this on Yom Kippur 9.22.15
The Lord said mark this year – I am releasing My people to go back and rebuild the tabernacle of David or what was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar – I am releasing My people and they will come out like Haggai, Ezra, Daniel and Jeremiah – all prophets out of the book of Zechariah – Joshua the High Priest and Zerubbabel – they were released to build the House of the Lord.
Haggai was about the rebuilding of Solomon’s temple after they were released by King Cyrus and Cyrus gave them the gold and the silver and sent them back to rebuild the glory – the tabernacle) In Haggai chapter 2, the Lord actually rebuked the children of Israel because it had been 18 years and they had only done a little bit of work on the House of the Lord, because they were paneling their own houses, so the favor of God came off of them. The Lord said – no, no, no, you need to be building MY house -not your house.
Then the Lord says in Haggai chapter 2 – “Be strong – Be strong Zerubbabel – be strong now, Joshua High Priest be strong now, all you people – and remember, I am going to be with you, just like I was when you came out of Egypt. One more time, I am going to shake the starry heavens and I am going to shake the earth and I am going to shake the nations – and everything is going to happen. For the gold is Mine, the silver is Mine and the glory of the latter house, this latter house that you are building will be greater than the glory of the former.”
The Lord said, we are at a 70 year junction -I am releasing My people – it is a year of freedom and I will pay for it. The gold is Mine, the silver is Mine and the glory of the latter house will be greater – to establish, to bring the glory of God back into the nations in revival. The glory of God is going to dispossess nations and the glory of God is going to fall on nations in this Jubilee year- and today, is Yom Kippur – 9/22 and the Lord said Jeff – 9/22 is also the Book of Daniel.
Now Daniel chapter 9 verse 22 says – Daniel was confessing the sins of his people and making intercession and Gabriel came. God says this is a season of Angelic visitation, it is a season where God is bringing us instruction. And verse 22 says – He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. (skill, wisdom and understanding)
So, on 9/22, today, which is Yom Kippur, which Daniel 9:22 is actually 70 Yom Kipper’s ago, the same day when Joshua went in as well, today- September the 22nd, the Lord said is just like when Gabriel came – I am giving skill, I am giving wisdom, instruction, I am giving understanding, – keys into the supernatural breakthrough in this season – this Yom Kippur – and it’s a season of Angelic Visitation, it’s a season where these keys that are coming will unlock doors – destiny doors, it will unlock nations, it will unlock the glory of God in places globally.
It doesn’t matter what it looks like, because when Gabriel first came, Daniel was reading the book and at that point- in Dan chapter 9 – he had been in captivity 68 years – and he’s reading the book and like oh my goodness – according to the word of the Lord by Joshua – in 70 years, we are going to be released. So IMMEDIATELY he set his face to pray.
So the Lord says – here I am praying, we are praying on Yom Kippur, September the 22nd. And the Lord says Jeff, it is time to pray. Tell My people it is time to pray. In this 70th year, I am releasing, this 70th Jubilee, in this year, I am releasing heavenly instruction, heavenly blueprints, heavenly skill, wisdom and understanding and knowledge, – how to bring the glory of God back into the nations. Just like the children of Israel did when they were released from 70 years of Babylonian captivity.
