Today, I came across an old email. One, I had obviously kept for some time.

It was from a partner and she was giving a testimony of something God had done for her. As I read this note (that I had read several times before) it again blessed me just as it did the first time I set my eyes upon it. Here is the email.

Hi Kim,

Hope all is well with you & your family!

I’ve been meaning to share this testimony with you.

My family and I were preparing for a Labor Day road trip last week from Thurs to Sat. On the Wednesday prior, I had this sudden leading of the Holy Spirit to sow a seed towards our trip for protection & covering. I’ve really never felt led to do that before – but I quickly did.

When thinking of where to sow – I again felt led to sow into ANTM; and I quickly did.

Kim!! During our road trip we nearly got into 2 accidents that I’m fairly certain we would have gotten into had I not sowed that seed! These 2 cars came at us from out of no where but NEVER hit us and we never hit them. We were shocked both times but we KNOW it was the hand of God. We also know it was the power of our seed. ANTM has always been good ground for me to sow into. I can’t explain it (I probably don’t need to with you!) – but every time something important is coming up and I feel the need to sow a seed – I usually always sow into ANTM. There is just something about your ministry Kim – the SOIL IS RIPE! The SOIL IS PURE! The SOIL IS GOOD!!!

Thank you for tending to your soil in prayer. I’m so grateful it’s there for me to sow into.

Have a wonderful day!

T.

The Bible has a lot to say about sowing seeds, I am going to share just a few scriptures with you today from the New Living Bible.

They weep as they go to plant their precious seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest. (Ps. 126:6)

Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. (2 Cor. 9:6)

Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. (Gal. 6:7)

As I read through these scriptures, I knew it was not exactly what I was needing to answer my question…so I kept looking. Then I came to this scripture.

Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness. (2 Cor. 9:10)

I looked up the word SEED to find it means; whatever possesses vital force of life-giving power. Wow, if that is not good enough – it also means; the grain which contains in itself the future harvest. I love that. Our future harvest is found ONE place – in our seed!

When God prompts us to sow a seed, it possesses life giving power within that seed itself to produce whatever harvest we need. It can be money, but it can also be something else…whatever it is you have need of – life is in your seed to produce it.

God has had me sow seeds for many things in my life. For finances – I sowed toward debt freedom until I was free from debt. For healing – I and many other people I know have been prompted by God to sow seeds for healing and healing has manifested. For restoration for our children. I have seen a harvest on this as well.

Today, my friend shared how she sowed a seed for protection – and that seed had within itself the power to produce that protection. I love the way God works – all He wants, and needs is our cooperation. We only need to obey His promptings.

How about you today? Have you felt in your heart that God has prompted you to sow a seed, yet it makes no sense to you? It’s happened to me many times over – I have learned to simply obey God and watch what He does with my seed. Our seed is simply our point of contact – the action of our faith – and it will produce awesome results.

Where is your future harvest? It is in your seed. It’s always been in your seed. May God bless your seed with a thousand-fold return this very month – that is our prayer for you today.
