Every now and then God reminds me of the life of a dandelion and how relentless they are.
Relentless is defined as, showing or promising no abatement of intensity, strength, or pace.
It is not the season for dandelions, yet they are on my mind.
I’m reminded of a day Brailee gave Breanne and I a dandelion. Little seeds were flying everywhere as Breanne remarked, “Dandelions are relentless.” It was a simple comment. But it was one that has never left me.
Dandelions are funny things. 
You can trample over them. You can cut them down. A storm can blow through and wipe them out. But nothing stops them. They just pop right back up. Not only that, but they scatter seeds everywhere they go.
You can pick them up and blow on them, again, they simply scatter all their seeds as they go and reproduce.
They are relentless, nothing can stop them. Nothing can hinder them from spreading their seeds all around. And nothing can stop them from multiplying.
Galatians 6:9-10 says, Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.…
I love how the Passion Translation says it; And don’t allow yourself to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming! Take advantage of every opportunity to be a blessing to others, especially to our brothers and sisters in the family of faith!
Galatians 6 is talking about a relentless person. A person who is just like the dandelion. A person who, no matter what tries to hinder them, continues to sow. A person who, amid a financial crisis, will be found sowing seed. They will continue to obey God’s Word concerning finances. A person who, when the storms of life hit, allows their seed to continue to scatter. As their seed scatters, they continue to multiply.
That, my friend, is a relentless person.
Don’t allow hinderances to stop you from obeying God. Don’t allow storms of life to cause you to stop trusting God. We have a promise from God. What we sow, we will reap. If we need increase, we must continue to trust God and sow. Otherwise, we will not reap financial increase.
Galatians 6:8 says, A man’s harvest in life will depend entirely on what he sows
It doesn’t get any clearer than that.
Today, decide what you want to reap, and sow accordingly. This truth is not only about money. It’s about life. If you want joy, sow joy. If you want love, sow love. If you need help, sow help. If you need peace, sow peace. If you need a house, help someone pay a house payment. If you need debt freedom, help someone pay a debt. A man’s harvest in life will depend entirely on what he sows – Sow accordingly.
May we all become relentless in sowing good things, just like the dandelion. As we journey through life, may our seeds of goodness, kindness, and love scatter everywhere we walk. And may they multiply abundantly producing an unending harvest. May we have relentless faith all the days of our life.
