Yesterday I shared with you about my cucumbers and how God is speaking to me about the season of multiplication we are in concerning seeds sown.

Today, I want to share something else with you that I feel was a confirmation of this very thing.

God has really been expounding on the power of seeds lately. Message after message has come across my desk concerning seeds and how important they are in this season. I had just listened to a message about sowing seeds and doing kind things for those around us. It was about giving to others when we have the ability to do something kind and generous. This was on my mind when my phone rang.

The person on the other end of the phone was my daughter. We talked for a few minutes about nothing in particular. We were just chatting. In our conversation she said she would like to visit some farmers markets soon to put some things up for winter, such as corn and berries.

I shared with her that my neighbor had called a few days ago and said he had blueberries already. I said to her, “I can go get you some if you want.” A few minutes later I was driving to his farm to purchase Breanne some blueberries. Seed in the ground was what I was thinking, but I really didn’t think beyond that.

Less than ten minutes later, my sister called. She shared with me that my uncle and aunt had called and said they had blueberries and blackberries and we could come pick as many as we wanted. I had just moments earlier sowed blueberry seed!

The next morning, we were at their farm early, picking blueberries and blackberries. Not only that but before we left, they gave us cabbage and fresh honey from their farm.

I sowed seed, moments later, I reaped a harvest. In the end, not only did I reap the same seed I had sown but more, abundantly above all I could ask or think.

I now have enough blueberries in the freezer for the entire winter, for free. Plus, I also have seventeen jars of blueberry jelly, something my little granddaughter absolutely loves and had just asked for.

GOD IS RESPONDING to our seed as soon as we sow it. I was so excited!

I am still excited! This was confirmation of all God was telling me concerning seeds we sow in this season of a sudden harvest.

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt that is, everything heretofore barren and unfruitful shall overflow with spiritual blessing. Amos 9:13

Even writing this today, my spirit is excited! I believe this is where we are today! In a season of the plowman overtaking the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed! But it doesn’t stop there. The Word of God goes on to say, the very mountains shall drip with abundance and everything that was once barren and unfruitful will overflow with blessing.

Are there any areas of your life that have appeared barren or unfruitful? If so, that is about to change. Fruitfulness and abundance are about to invade your life in an unprecedented way. EXPECT IT! It is time for you and for me to overflow with blessings! I don’t know about you – but I am beyond ready for this shift in seasons!

This week lets rejoice in advance and be exceedingly glad for our God has done wonderful things – marvelous in our eyes! To God be all the glory.
