Recently we have been talking about things the Lord has shown me about this season and how to thrive through it. I hope the first two have been a source of blessing to you.
The third thing I know is this; there has been a release of an increase of the supernatural into our atmosphere.
What do I mean by that? I believe there are more angels on assignment than ever before AND I believe it is a time for us to press in and believe and partner with the supernatural.
I received an email this week that asked, “Is healing still for today?”
Frankly, it stunned me. Of course, healing is for today. What Jesus did at the cross – the provisions he made has not changed, not one little bit.
Our God is an awesome God, and nothing is impossible for him. Never, ever forget that. I have seen God do amazing healings in my life. Straightening teeth for my daughter. Healing me from a brown recluse spider bite. So many things I have seen. Yet, I must admit, even I haven’t pressed in for those things as I once did. What happens? I think we take hit after hit, disappointment after disappointment and it makes it more difficult to believe for the supernatural to take place in our life. BUT GOD HASN’T CHANGED…it is us who changes. It’s time for us to line up with his way of thinking once again. Let’s look a moment at the God we serve.
·      God created the heavens and the earth
·      God set the stars in place
·      God parts seas
·      God brings down walls
·      Mountains fall at his name
·      God brought the children of Israel out with a mighty hand
This is just a smidge of the God we serve, and he has not changed. He is a God of the supernatural…therefore we can and should walk in the supernatural as well.
It doesn’t take much to see demonic spirits have been active in our world today – we see it every single day. God is not intimidated by that, and neither should we be. Instead God tells us exactly what we should do when this day comes…
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. (Is 60:1-3)
God is not taken off guard at the darkness that has covered the earth – he has already made provision for it. His glory will be more prominent than the darkness, of that we can be assured.
It’s time to let his glory shine – through us. It is also time to allow his unmatched power to flow through us.
Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
Jesus daily walked in the supernatural – he went about doing to and freeing people from the devil and he told us to do the same thing.
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (Jn. 14:12)
We are in a season of greater works – it’s time for us to do the works of Jesus and draw all men unto him.
John 4:48 says, “Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.” It was true in Jesus’ day, and it is true now – some folks must see the signs of God before they will believe.
We saw this truth with Pharoah – God sent 10 plagues – signs to show Pharoah God was who he said he was. God had his way then and he will have his way now – even if it takes multiple signs to accomplish it.
Our part is to keep our eyes on him and believe for the supernatural.
My friends, this is one thing I know for certain – the supernatural is here and it is time for us to walk in it. Are you willing? Then ask God to immerse you in HIS supernatural and cause you to walk just like Jesus walked…in the power of God…every single day.
