Psalm 103:20-22 says; Bless the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, obeying the voice of His word!  Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you who serve Him and do His will.  Bless the Lord, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul!

When I heard this scripture a few days ago…four words jumped out at me.  Voice of His Word.

The angels of the Lord hearken at one thing; the voice of the word of God.  Nothing else, but His word.

God’s word will accomplish His desires and purposes. Isaiah 55:11 says; the word of God will not return void but will accomplish what it was sent to accomplish.  In other words, whatever we send it for, it will be done!  God’s word is powerful.  It is guaranteed by God to be effective.

When we speak the Word of God, we are tapping into limitless power!

Jeremiah 23:28-29 says; And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully.  What is the chaff to the wheat? says the Lord.  Is not My word like a fire? says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

When we speak God’s word, faithfully, things begin to change.  Obstacles and is broken, when we speak God’s word faithfully.

Even Jesus declared to Satan, “it is written.”  As He did, Satan was defeated.  It will work the same way for you.  There is great power in the spoken word of God. But they must be spoken.  They can’t only be read or even meditated on…they must be spoken.

Proverbs 18:21 says life and death are in the power of the tongue and we will eat the fruit of our words.

Mark 11:23 says we will have what we say if we only believe it!

Over and over again the Bible tells us the power of our words.  We will have what we say, if it lines up with the word of God.  And if we believe.

Another great benefit of speaking the word of God is found in the scripture we began this writing with, Psalm 103.  Angels, God’s ministering angels, hearken to the voice of His word.

The voice of His word.  If we want angels to minister for us in different situations, we must speak His word.  We must be the voice of His word.  If there is no voice, there is nothing for the angels to hearken to.  If we are declaring the problem, they will not assist…they are listening for HIS word, coming from your mouth.

You have the same authority Jesus has.  When you speak God’s word, it has the same effect as if Jesus, Himself, were speaking it.  You can defeat every enemy the same way Jesus defeated Satan… “it is written.”

The Bible is His word, but it will not speak for you.  You must be the voice.  You must be the voice of His word that the angels harken to.  Today…be that voice.

Meditate:

The heart of the righteous weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.  Proverbs 15:28
