Lately, I have been sharing with you some things I believe God showed and told me.  I am excited about these words from God and their confirmation.  I love how God has confirmed His Word over and again.

In the midst of these exciting words, people began to send me video’s from online about some dreams a couple reputable prophetic people had recently concerning troubling times ahead. For many, these dreams may cause fear.  Considering the past two years, should we fear?  Absolutely not!  God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

What then should we do with these dreams?  We should listen and pray about them and pray into them, remembering God gives warning dreams, not to cause fear, but so that His people will be prepared.  If you tune into God, He will not allow the enemy to catch you off guard. You may recall, at the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, God continually told me to prepare.  There was NO fear in this instruction.  It was simply God compelling me to prepare myself.

The heavens ARE open

The Bible tells us perilous times will come; however, God takes care of His own.  He watches over those who follow His voice and obey His Word.  He certainly does not want us in fear.

Should we prepare?  Frankly, since 2020, I have stayed prepared.  I continue to store ahead on groceries and anything else I may need.  I have purposed in my heart not to be caught off guard concerning supplies again. I think this is simple wisdom. Not because God won’t provide for His people – He will.  But because if chaos hits again, we don’t even have to be in the middle of it.  We can stay home, knowing we are fully supplied and avoid the chaos entirely.  I also do it so that those around me will have no lack or need. Again, I do not do this out of fear, but out of wisdom and continual preparation.

Beyond this there is another thing that is important concerning these types of dreams.  We cannot allow our focus to get on the ‘what could be’s.’  We pray, we seek God and declare His Word and we trust Him.  And we continue to keep our eyes on Him and His Word.

Remember, the Bible says God will keep us in perfect, undisturbed peace, as long as our mind is stayed upon Him, and we trust in Him. We must refuse to be shaken or moved, regardless of what we see or hear.  God has promised to bless His people this year and He will – as we keep our eyes on Him. As we continue to trust Him.

Philippians 4:6-9 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.”

Friends, I wanted to encourage you today.  Hold onto God’s Word.  He will bring it to pass. He will do what He said He would do.  He is a faithful God, and He cannot lie.

Does He warn us?  Certainly.  Not to fear, to remain steadfast and prepared – so nothing catches us off guard.  However, that does not change what He has said about this time.  The heavens ARE open.  His hand of blessing is OPEN to each one of us, God is going to bless us right in the midst of the chaos – it’s up to us take our promises and enter into our Promised Land.  Don’t let anything hinder or stop you.  Press on through and enter in.

Appoint My Days

I fill my mind with beauty and truth.  I meditate on whatever is honorable, right, pure, lovely, good, virtuous, and praiseworthy.  I think on these things.  And because I keep my mind on Him, He keeps me in perfect peace!
