Have you ever felt like the seeds you were sowing in faith simply weren’t working?

Many of us have felt that way at one time or another. Just the other day I received such an email from one of our partners after he read last Friday’s teaching.

His email said; ‘Great word! I’ve struggled in faith with the accuser saying your seeds of faith giving is not working, but you’ve renewed my hope to sow more seeds, water my seeds with prayers of God’s word. I will see a Harvest in God’s timing.’

My response to him was; ‘Yes, he always wants us to think it is not working….only because he knows how well it IS working.

As I wrote those words the Lord began to speak to me. He said ‘if the enemy can’t stop you from giving BEFORE you see your harvest, he knows he won’t ever be able to stop you.’ He went on to say ‘once you see your harvest, you are unstoppable, he has to work very hard to stop people before they see the results of their giving.’

This reminded me of one of my favorite scriptures. It is found in Luke 1:45; Blessed is she who has believed for she shall see a performance of those things told her from the Lord.

Mary was blessed, empowered to prosper, because she took God at His word, before she saw the fulfillment of the promise. She believed at a time when it appeared absolutely impossible for what He said to come to pass.

It is in the before the manifestation that our faith must be strong. We must, like Mary, believe before we see, in doing that, we will be empowered to prosper.

As God said to me this morning, ‘the enemy knows if he doesn’t stop you before you see the promise, he will never be able to stop you.’
That statement made me think about Peter. Remember Peter?

Before Jesus was crucified, Peter denied even knowing him. Three times he denied the Lord. However, after he saw the promise fulfilled…Jesus conquering death, hell and the grave, after that, nothing, no devil could stop him.

Prison could not stop him. Beatings could not stop him. Nothing could stop him after he saw the fulfillment of that promise.

Regardless of what the enemy is telling you about the seeds you have sown, the truth remains the truth.

Galatians 6:7 says; Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that shall he reap.

Don’t be deceived by the enemy…whatever you sow, you will reap. God is not mocked and God said ‘whatever you sow, that shall you reap.’

Verse 9 says; And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season, we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

I believe we are in due season…therefore, do not lose heart, the truth remains the truth and you will reap if you don’t give up.
