Vow & Declare

The headline read…Vow & Declare win the 2019 Melbourne Cup at Flemington Racecourse!

The first thing I heard the spirit of God speak to my heart as I read this was, “Notice, it says 2019, not 2020.”

Just another confirmation that God isn’t finished working this year.

The second thing that ran through my mind was a prophetic act I had done on the 31st of October.

Kelita sent me a video by Hank Kunneman to watch. In one part of the video he led people to do this prophetic act. Now, frankly, I don’t remember why he had them do it. I don’t recall what he was praying over at the time. But I know the act remained with me for days.

I watched the video on the 30th. On the 31st, I needed a breakthrough in an area. One that seemed almost impossible. It was, indeed, very unlikely to happen in a day.

However, knowing what God had shown me about the power of our words this season, I began to declare the end result I needed. The day continued on with no sign of breakthrough.

Throughout the day, when it would come to mind, I would do that prophetic act. It was simple. He put one finger over his lips as if he was saying, “shhh.” And He put the other hand out in front of him, almost like a stop motion.

To me, this prophetic act was saying, “silence, devil. The hand of God is at work on my behalf right now.”

That was what I was saying each time I did it. And I did it each time the need crossed my mind.

I was calling in precisely what I needed. And I was silencing the enemy each time he tried to speak. As well as reminding him that the hand of God was at work on my behalf.

It was late in the afternoon when that need was met. It was met exactly as I had called it in. Exactly.

Vow and declare are winning the battles in this season. In this year. It may be as it was with the horse race, a close finish, but we will win. As long as we keep the word of God in our heart and coming out of our mouth. As long as we hold our confidence steadfast to the very end.
I saw it with my own eyes.

I don’t believe God is finished doing things just like this. This year. Not next year. This year.

Vow & Declare win in 2019. What are you vowing and declaring?

What words are coming out of your mouth? Are you listening to the devil when he tries to tell you it will never happen? Or are you telling him, “shhh…the hand of God is at work on my behalf!?”

I am going to stick with the latter.

There is so much I need to see in this season. I am sure it is the same with you. Therefore, I am going to honor God first, obey His word, declare His will and plan for my life and silence the enemy. The words that I speak, they are spirit and life. I will see the performance of the Lord on my behalf this year. As will you. Don’t stop. Keep your vows. Declare His promises and finish this year strong in the Lord.

Mediate on this:
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
