We have no need to fear any storms that may come our way, we too can learn to sleep through the storms, just like Jesus did. Jesus knew he was in the perfect will of God, in the very destiny God had placed him. Jesus knew the storm had no power over him but that he had all authority over that storm, therefore he slept in peace. Jesus said ‘MY peace I leave with you.’ We have the same peace Jesus had, we can sleep through storms and wind. We also have the same authority Jesus has, we too can speak to the storms in our life and command peace to come.
I see people daily who fear what is going on in the world or what is going on in our great country, I am here to remind you today that there is nothing to fear. Fear is not of God. We can continue to walk in faith, just as Jesus did. We can continue to sleep in peace, just as Jesus did.
When you’re prepared, spiritually, mentally, and physically, you have nothing to fear. Can you sleep when the wind blows through your life? The hired hand in the story was able to sleep because he had secured the farm against the storm. Are you secured against any storm that could come your way? Is there any preparation you need to take to make sure you are secure? We secure ourselves against the storms of life by grounding ourselves in the Word of God.
Become secure by grounding yourself in the word of God concerning health and healing, finances, peace, successful children and whatever else it is that causes you to fear. Replace that fear with the word of God. In His word is perfect love and perfect love casts out all fear. Refuse fear and demand and proclaim peace.
