May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you. Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us. NLT

I really don’t know how it could be much plainer; Let the people praise you God THEN the earth will yield its increase, its harvest. Our praise affects our harvest. Our lack of praise will affect our harvest as well.

I love this scripture and I love how God seems to be leading me step by step in learning to harvest what belongs to us. I have read many of these scriptures before but did not see how they were connected with our harvest, now that I see, it is so simple.

I have always been a cheerful giver, a continual giver but I have not always been a continual harvester – that changes today.

I praise God for my harvest. I praise God for the earth yielding its increase to me today and to you as well. Praise God for your harvest for it is surely harvest time. Today I will leave you with a scripture from Isaiah 62; The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled; but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”

Praise the Lord before harvest, especially during harvest and after harvest. Praise the Lord at all times!
