I have waited for this time – I have prayed diligently for this time!  What time?  A time when I begin to hear an influx of testimonies from our partners.  By Tuesday of last week, I had already received five amazing testimonies from partners!  I am praising the Lord for each of them.

One testimony was an answered prayer to a legal situation.  Another was an unexpected inheritance!  One was debts paid in full!  Two were debts being paid off.  Another was bonus at work AND debts being completely forgiven. It seems that testimonies are coming in daily.  This is exciting to me.

A couple weeks ago I shared with you how God had shown me two things; One, the windows are heaven are open and Two, God’s hand is open. This Word was confirmed by several different ministers – which gave me even more confidence in what God was saying.

I am seeing and hearing the evidence of this!  My question to you today is this, “are you seeing the evidence of this?”

If you are…wonderful!  If not, may I ask a couple more questions.

When I shared that Word with you, did you believe it?

The Bible says over and again, we must believe before we can receive.

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” Matthew 9:29

The first thing we must do when we hear a Word from God is to believe it.

First, we must believe, become fully persuaded.
Then, we must receive the Word as our own.

To believe means to accept something as true, genuine, or real. To have a firm or wholehearted conviction or persuasion of something.

Romans 4:18-21 from the Amplified says; [For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah’s [deadened] womb. No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised.

Abraham was strong in faith.  He simply believed God.  How did He strengthen His faith?  By giving praise and glory to God.  He was fully assured – no doubt – God would do what He says.

First, we must believe, become fully persuaded.  Then, we must receive the Word as our own.

These testimonies I shared with you are from people who believed the Word and took it as their own.  They pressed into the promises of God.  They received, by faith, from the hand of God – all He had for them.

You too can do the same thing.  We all can.  We can believe the windows of heaven are open and give praise and glory to God.  And…we can believe God’s hand is open to His faithful people this year and receive from His hand of goodness. I encourage you today – to press into this season in God.  Press into His Word.  Declare His promises.  Receive, by faith, from His hand today.  And don’t forget to give praise and glory to God in the process.

Appoint My Days

I walk in faith today, for Jesus has taken away fear and doubt in my life. Fear will not rule me – Faith Will! Whatever is not of faith is sin, so I speak words of life. Today, I cast all my cares on Christ today. I will go throughout my day worry free. I choose to meditate on the promises, and not the problem. As I cast my cares on Christ today, I will magnify God’s Word in all that I do.
