Yes, I am still meditating on tipping points.
One definition of a tipping point is; as the point at which an issue, idea, product, etc., crosses a certain threshold and gains significant momentum, triggered by some minor factor or change.
In other words, little things can make a big difference.
As I looked through my notes about tipping points, I found something interesting.
I had written something else God spoken to me about tipping points.
He said, “every little act of obedience brings you closer to the tipping point.”
Little things make a big difference.
Psalm 119:60 says; I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands.
We should always be of this mind. To hasten to obey every little tug of God. To heed every little nudge of the Holy Spirit.
At times, I have been guilty of putting it off for another time. Especially if it seems insignificant or unimportant to me.
Even as I write this, I can’t help but think, “how could anything God is prompting me to do be insignificant?”
There are things God has led me to do, even in the past few days, that seem insignificant to me. However, God is saying these little things are drawing me closer to my tipping point.
Romans 2: 6 says; God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
God wants us to see reach tipping point, even more than we want to.
I also believe He is speaking to us, giving us nudges and things to do, acts of obedience, that are speeding up our tipping points…if we obey without delay.
Jeremiah 1:12, in the Amplified Bible says; Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am, actively watching over My word to fulfill it.”
I just love that! God is ACTIVELY watching over His word to perform it. My God, your God, is alert and active, watching over His word, concerning us. That is awesome, my friend!
Today, tune your ear to His voice. When He speaks, be quick to obey. What we do or do not do, matters. Remember…every little act of obedience is bringing you closer to your tipping point.
Meditate on this:
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
